Sugar and Tempt
A small ecommerce store, selling NYC style cookies in Auckland
How it began
Sugar and Tempt is a small cookie business based in Auckland, New Zealand. They make delicious NYC style cookies and deliver them nationwide on their famous cookie drops.
This was my first project for a client which made it challenging but also exciting. To be successful in any industry, you need to know how your work is seen by clients and customers and gain an idea of the type of work that's out there.
This is why I took on the chance to build their website!
How it went
Working with Sugar and Tempt was my first introduction into web consulting and design when I developed their website from start-to-finish. This developed and introduced me to more of the world of e-commerce and how each business always has different needs.
Built on WordPress, WooCommerce, Oxygen builder and many custom add-ons, I created a fulfilling customer experience that converted well and gave Sugar and Tempt the ability to scale their business from just Auckland to nationwide delivery.
One of the biggest lessons I learnt is how important integrations and easy of use are to businesses.
