I am a self-taught engineer and the founding engineer at Pioneer Finance Technologies. I built LIAM from the ground up and now lead the engineering team as Full Stack Technical Lead.
The surface is wide: web platforms, mobile apps, backend services in two languages, voice AI, open banking integrations and the internal tooling that keeps it all honest. Finance is the domain, but very little of the interesting part is about finance.
What I did
- →Built LIAM from the ground up as Pioneer’s founding engineer.
- →Contributed to every product in the Pioneer Finance Technologies portfolio.
- →Lead the engineering team — technical direction, architecture decisions, code review and mentoring.
- →Built and maintain the platform used by customers, brokers, retail partners, merchants and internal staff.
- →Wrote the API and workflow services behind it, across TypeScript and Java.
- →Shipped mobile apps to the App Store and Play Store.
- →Introduced AI where it removed real work — voice agents, transcript classification, agent-queryable internal tools.
- →Ran marketing operations before the role shifted — HubSpot, Google and Meta ads, lifecycle and reporting.
