Marketing and Support Officer for the national industry body representing New Zealand’s crane operators.
CANZ is the industry association for crane owners and operators across New Zealand. I looked after marketing and member support, and rebuilt a lot of the systems the association ran on.
A lot of the job was joining things up — membership data, accounting, email and the website were all separate, and getting them talking to each other removed most of the manual work.
What I did
- →Rebuilt the association website and member-facing tooling.
- →Wired the membership database into Xero and Mailchimp so records, invoicing and campaigns stayed in sync.
- →Built a progressive web app for members.
- →Ran the association’s campaigns, newsletters and event promotion.
